Regular Verbs in past pronunciation


                                  Regular Verbs: Past pronunciation Rules
1.  1 When the verbs in present finish in the sounds /t/ and /d/
  In past you add the sound /ed/
2. 2.  When the verbs in present finish in the sounds /p/,/f/,/k/,/s/,/sh/and/ch/
  In past you add the sound /t/
3.  3 When the verbs in present finish in any other sound
In past you add the sound /d/


Example:
The word "work" in present finishes with the sound /k/. When you write it in past it is "worked" but according to the rule you must pronounce the word like /workt/ (rule #2)

In another word, "pulled" (in past) you have to think of the word in present and its last sound which is /l/. Therefore, the rule it gets is #3, where in past the pronunciation is /puld/
